Meanwhile, we will also strictly comply with the requirements of laws and regulations and agreements with third parties to protect and process your personal information.

If you connect YouFeed to a third-party account (such as your Google service), we will only use the data obtained from this integration to provide you with the expected services. For example, if you link Google Calendar to A, we may use your calendar event information to recommend relevant news articles (e.g., local news if you have an upcoming event in a specific city). We will not use your email or calendar data for any purpose other than providing the integrated functionality, and we will not share this data with external parties unless required to provide the service (and in compliance with this Privacy Policy). YouFeed's use of information received from the Google API and its transmission to any other application will comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy (including limited use requirements), which means we will ensure that the data in your Google account remains secure and confidential.

Please be cautious and pay attention to your personal sensitive information. You agree that we may process your personal sensitive information in accordance with the purposes and methods described in this policy.

1.8.6 Please note that as Business B develops, there may be adjustments and changes to the functions of this product and the services provided. In principle, when new functions or services are related to the functions or services currently provided by B, the personal information collected and used will have a direct or reasonable connection with the original processing purpose. In scenarios where there is no direct or reasonable connection with the original processing purpose, when B collects and uses your personal information, it will separately inform you and obtain your consent again in accordance with the requirements of laws, regulations, and national standards through page prompts, interactive processes, and agreement confirmation.

1.8.7 If we engage in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sell some or all of our company's assets, personal information may be disclosed as part of the transaction to potential or actual purchasers (or their advisors). We will ensure that any such parties understand that they must handle personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (unless we notify you otherwise and, where legally required, you consent to the new policy). In the event of a change in ownership, the successor entity will have access to your personal information and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your information as described in this policy.

1.8.8 We may share your personal information with third parties if you request or instruct us to do so. For example, if YouFeed provides a feature that allows you to share articles or content via social media or email, we will act as you instruct (sharing the information necessary to fulfill your request, such as the content link, and possibly your username or display name). Similarly, if we provide an opportunity for you to choose to share your information with partners (e.g., for an event or promotion), we will only share it with your affirmative consent. In such cases, we will clearly state which information will be shared and with whom when obtaining your consent.

1.8.9 YouFeed will not sell personal information to third parties for money or other valuable consideration. We will also not "share" your personal information for targeted advertising purposes as defined by California law. If there are any changes to this policy, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide you with the required notice and opt-out options.

1.8.10 We will not sell your personal information to third parties. We will also not share your personal information with third parties for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising). However, in the normal course of business operations and service provision, for the normal use of this product, you understand and agree that B, based on the requirements of different platforms, uses third-party software development kits (SDKs) or application programming interfaces (APIs), which may involve third parties as partners in the process of data use. B will conduct strict security monitoring on the application programming interfaces (APIs) and third-party SDKs through which partners obtain relevant information, and authorize partners to conduct data transmission within the agreed scope, and process personal information in accordance with explicit and other relevant confidentiality and security measures. Some third-party SDKs may call or obtain your relevant information. B lists the names, purposes of use, types of personal information collected, affiliated institutions, official website links, and privacy policy links of these third-party SDKs as follows (including both iOS and Android versions).

To meet the continuously evolving business needs and regulatory requirements, B may adjust the third-party SDKs it uses and modify this statement in a timely manner. Please note that third-party SDKs may also change the types of personal information they collect due to reasons such as version upgrades and feature optimizations. B has attached the official website links and Privacy Policy links of the SDK's affiliated institutions in this statement for your reference. Please refer to their publicly announced official statements for details.

By collecting such information through cookie technology and similar technologies, we can provide you with more considerate services.

2.2 When you use this service, we will send cookies to your device and use them for the following purposes:

(1) Remember your identity, recognize your identity as our registered user, or save the information about your preferences or other information you provide to us.

(3) To ensure the speed and effectiveness of web page parsing, we will read the content of the websites you visit.

2.3 We will not use Cookies for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete Cookies according to your preferences.

However, you understand and acknowledge that if you do so, you may not be able to enjoy the best service experience, and some services may not function properly.

Article 3 How We Store Your Personal Information

3.1 Storage Duration of Information

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose during your use of this product service, unless otherwise provided by applicable laws, regulations, or national regulatory documents, for storing your personal information. If you cancel your account or actively delete the above information, we will retain your information within the scope permitted by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and other relevant laws and regulations. When the relevant services of this product cease operation, we will notify you in the form of sending notices and announcements, and delete or anonymize your personal information within the time limit required by laws and regulations.

3.2 Geographical Location of Stored Information

We will, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, only store your personal information within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Unless we obtain your separate consent, or to perform a contract concluded with you, or to comply with obligations stipulated by laws and regulations, we will not provide any of your personal information to overseas parties.

In certain circumstances, we may conduct international data transfers with your consent (for example, when you register from an EEA country and are aware that your data will be processed within the territory of the People's Republic of China, we consider this as your consent), or because such transfers are necessary to provide you with the requested services (for example, routing data through global servers to deliver content). We will only rely on these mechanisms when permitted by law and when other safeguards are not feasible.

By using YouFeed, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and stored on servers located outside your country. Regardless of where the data is processed, we will take all reasonable and necessary measures to ensure that your data is processed securely and in compliance with this Policy and applicable laws.

If you would like to learn more about our international data transfer practices, or if you have specific questions about transfers to certain countries, please contact us.

Article 4 How We Protect Your Personal Information

4.1 Information Security Protection Measures

4.1.1 We guarantee that we will collect, use, store, and transmit user information in a legal manner, and inform you of the purpose and scope of use of relevant information through relevant agreements and the Privacy Policy.

4.1.2 We will use various security technologies and measures that comply with industry standards to protect the security of your personal information and prevent it from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, loss, or leakage.

4.1.3 We have established dedicated management systems, processes, and organizations to ensure information security, including but not limited to:

(1) Provide employees with awareness training, security skills training, and assessment on data security, conduct identity authentication and access control for employees handling personal information to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information.

(2) Establish a dedicated team responsible for researching, developing, and applying various security technologies and procedures, conduct security background checks on security administrators and personnel in relevant security positions, and establish a sound information security management system and internal security incident handling mechanism, etc.

4.2 Information Security Incident Handling

We will develop emergency response plans for cyber security incidents and regularly organize working group members to conduct drills on the security plans. In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, promptly notify you of the relevant details of the incident through in-app notifications, SMS notifications, phone calls, emails, and other contact methods you have provided. When it is difficult to notify each individual, we will adopt reasonable and effective methods to issue announcements. Meanwhile, we will also, as required by regulatory authorities, proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents.

Article 5 Your Rights Regarding Personal Information

You have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information. These rights enable you to access, control, and make decisions about your own information. We respect these rights of all users, and in particular, we will comply with the specific rights granted by privacy laws in each region. For example, residents of California have relevant rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA); residents of Virginia have relevant rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA); residents of the European Union (or the United Kingdom) have relevant rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); residents of Brazil have rights under LGPD. We extend the core privacy rights in these laws to all users of A, regardless of where you live. Your specific rights include:

5.1 Query, correct, supplement, or delete your personal information. You can change your username, mobile phone number, password, or cancel your account by entering the Personal Center and clicking the Edit button. If you need to change or correct other personal information generated during your use of our products and services, please contact us at any time. We will respond to your request in accordance with the methods and time limits specified in this Privacy Policy.

5.2 Manage Deleted Conversations

You can view the corresponding records by clicking on "History", and support clicking the "Delete" button to delete the history records.

5.3 Feedback, Complaints, and Reports

You can provide feedback, lodge a complaint, or report an issue by clicking the "Feedback" button on the specific content.

5.4 Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

You have the right to opt out of any "sale" of your personal information or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes. As previously stated, YouFeed currently does not sell or share personal data in these ways. Nevertheless, we support your privacy rights and provide you with the option to opt out so that your data will not be sold or shared in the future without your permission. You may exercise this right at any time by contacting us and stating that you do not wish for your personal information to be sold or shared. Additionally, if you have enabled a recognized universal opt-out signal in your browser, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) (see "Do Not Track" signal below), we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of selling/sharing data. Once you opt out, we will no longer sell or share your personal data, unless you subsequently provide consent allowing us to do so.

5.5 Restrict the Use of Sensitive Data

If you are a resident of California (or subject to similar laws), you have the right to instruct us to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive data to the extent necessary to provide services. In fact, YouFeed has already restricted the use of sensitive data. We only collect sensitive data (such as account passwords or anything in integrated accounts) when required for the core functionality you request, and we do not use sensitive data for purposes such as profiling or targeted advertising. If you still wish to request us to further limit the use of any sensitive data, you may submit a request to us. We will respect applicable requests and confirm any restrictions on the use of your sensitive data. Please remember that if you ask us to limit or stop using certain information necessary to provide services, we may not be able to provide certain features (for example, if you revoke permission for us to use your calendar data, we will not be able to display calendar-related news insights - but your normal use of other features will not be affected).

5.6 Withdraw Consent

Where we process your personal information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. For example, if you have consented to receive promotional emails, you can unsubscribe via the link in those emails or by adjusting your preference settings, and we will stop sending them. If you have connected a third-party account (such as Google) and allowed us to access data, you can disconnect the account or revoke permissions from the third-party provider's settings, and we will stop collecting data from that source. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal, but may limit our ability to provide you with certain services (as certain uses of your data may require consent).

5.7 Objection or Restriction of Processing

If you are a resident of the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK) (or if the law grants you this right), you have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data. For example, if you believe that our processing based on our legitimate interests (other than your consent or a contract with you) is overridden by your right to privacy, you may object to such processing. You also have the right to object at any time to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (if we engage in such marketing activities). Additionally, in certain circumstances, you may have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal information - for example, when we are verifying the accuracy of the data you have objected to, or when you object to processing and we are considering the request. When processing is restricted, we will store your information but will not actively use it until the issue is resolved. We will notify you before lifting any restrictions.

5.8 Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. This means that if you choose to exercise your rights (such as requesting data deletion or opting out of data sharing), we will not deny you services, charge you different fees, or provide you with lower-quality services solely because you have exercised these rights. However, in some cases, choosing to delete data or opt out of certain uses may affect the extent to which we can personalize or provide services. Any service differences related to the exercise of rights will be a direct result of that change (for example, if you opt out of certain data uses, some features that rely on that data may no longer function), but we will never retaliate against you or impose illegal penalties for exercising your rights.

5.9 Respond to your above request

To ensure security, you (or your authorized agent) need to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity (or the authority of the authorized agent acting on your behalf). We may first ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. Usually, we will respond to your request within 15 working days. In the following situations, in accordance with laws and regulations, we will be unable to respond to your above request, and if we are unable to fulfill the request, we will always state the reason:

(1) Related to our fulfillment of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;

(2) Those directly related to national security and national defense security;

(3) Directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;

(4) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, etc.;

(5) We have sufficient evidence to show that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights (for example, your request will endanger public safety and the legitimate rights and interests of others, or your request exceeds the scope that can be covered by general technical means and commercial costs);

(6) Responding to the request of the personal information subject will cause serious harm to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;

(7) When it is necessary to protect your or other individuals' major legitimate rights and interests such as life and property, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual;

(8) Involving trade secrets.

5.10 If you are a resident of Virginia or reside in another jurisdiction that confers the right to appeal, and you are dissatisfied with our decision regarding your privacy request, you may appeal our decision. To do so, please respond to our response email within a reasonable time (or resend an email to contact@youfeed.app), and inform us that you are appealing our decision and the reasons you believe we should reconsider. We will arrange for a different team member (or a higher-level decision-maker) to review your appeal and respond with the appeal result within 45 days of receiving your appeal request. Our response will be in writing and will state the reasons for our decision on the appeal. If we deny your appeal, Virginia residents have the right to further escalate the matter by contacting the Virginia Attorney General's Office (we will provide contact information in the notice of appeal denial, or you can find it on the Virginia Attorney General's Office website). Users in other states or countries may have similar rights to contact regulatory or oversight bodies - for example, residents of the European Union who believe their rights under the GDPR have been violated may file a complaint with the local data protection authority (for more information, please refer to Contact Us).

5.11 Do Not Track Signals and Global Privacy Control

"Do Not Track" (DNT) is a setting available in some web browsers that allows you to indicate your preference regarding website tracking. Similarly, the Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a signal that certain browsers or browser extensions can send to convey the intention to opt out of data sales or sharing.

Currently, YouFeed's web services (if you visit our website) do not take any special action in response to legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals—partly because there are currently no industry or legal standards on how to respond to DNT. However, we do recognize and respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. This means that if your browser or device has GPC enabled, our website will treat it as if you have submitted an opt-out request under CCPA/CPRA.

Please remember that YouFeed currently does not sell or share personal data for behavioral advertising, so the actual impact of DNT or GPC signals on our services is limited. Nevertheless, we support these privacy-enhancing technologies and will respect them in accordance with the law. We will continue to monitor developments related to "Do Not Track" and may reevaluate our practices if standards or regulations change. In any case, in addition to any browser-based signals, you can always exercise your privacy rights through the means described in this policy.

Article 6 Protection of Personal Information of Juveniles and Children

6.1 We attach great importance to the protection of information of juveniles and children.

6.2 A does not apply to children under 13 years of age, and we will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar juvenile data protection regulations. Our website and services are primarily intended for adults. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the legal age of adulthood in your jurisdiction), you should only use A with the participation and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Our Terms of Use require users to be at least 18 years of age, or if under 18 (13 - 17 years of age), to use the services with parental permission and supervision. We encourage parents to understand and guide their teenagers' online activities.

6.3 If you are under 13 years old, do not use YouFeed or provide us with any information about yourself. This includes not creating an account, not submitting any personal information (such as your name or email), and not using any interactive features of the service. Our registration process and terms are designed to reject or discourage users under 13 from creating an account.

6.4 For residents in the European Economic Area or other regions with stricter age requirements for data consent (usually under 16), we will not knowingly collect personal data of children below the applicable age threshold. If you are a child below the age at which you are permitted to consent to data processing in your country, you should not use our services without verifiable parental consent. We will take measures to prevent such users from accessing the services, and certain features may have age restrictions to ensure compliance with local laws.

6.5 In the highly unlikely event that we discover we have collected personal information of children under 13 (or under the relevant age of consent in other jurisdictions) without obtaining appropriate parental consent, we will immediately take action to delete such information. For example, if a child registers with a false age and we later become aware of this, we will terminate the account and delete any personal data provided.

6.6 If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 13 years of age (or under the relevant age specified in your jurisdiction) has provided personal information to YouFeed, please contact us immediately at contact@youfeed.app. We will promptly take action to delete the child's information and terminate their account (if it exists). We are happy to assist and answer any questions you may have regarding our practices for young users.

6.7 We will not deliberately market to children or solicit information from them. Ensuring children's online safety is of great importance to us, and we appreciate the assistance provided by parents and all sectors of society in this regard.

Article 7 Revision and Update of this Privacy Policy

To provide you with better service, this product will adjust, revise, change, or update the content of this Privacy Policy as appropriate. For any material changes that would result in a substantial reduction of your rights under this Privacy Policy, we will notify you on the main page of the service, via inbox notification, email, or other suitable means that can reach you before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to such changes, you may stop using this product or service.
